Its the 23rd of the month and time for your buddycheck23 reminder. We've teamed up with Saratoga Hospital to remind you each month to pay attention to the changes in your body and remind a buddy to do the same. Tonight, how three generations of local women are working to fight breast cancer right here in the Capital Region and they are doing it one step at a time.

One in eight women will battle breast cancer in her lifetime, and it is a proven fact that early detection saves lives. At FOX23 News, we want to keep you one step ahead of breast cancer. That's why we are proud to bring you buddycheck23.
Here's how it works:
-Choose a buddy. It can be a friend, your sister, your mother, a co-worker, anyone you care about.
-On the 23rd of each month, watch FOX23 News for your buddycheck23 reminder. We'll also bring you educational and inspirational stories, relating to breast cancer.
-Perform your breast self exam, and remind your buddy to do the same.
-If you notice anything unusual, call your doctor.
